Lake Mountain 1 Day Private Snow Tour

A day of adventure and fun awaits you on our Lake Mountain Snow Tour. Take the family for some fun tobogganing and snow play, or for those wanting some cross country skiing can explore many of the paths and trails and ski for 4-5 hours.

The Alpine resort offers many fun activities, food outlets, and amenities including ski hire equipment and clothing. With plenty of activities to chose from its a great first time location for you and your family, and for experienced skiers who want to see the Australian slopes.

Our private tour takes you in luxury through the picturesque Yarra Valley region stopping at Marysville for snacks and supplies, then off through the sculptured mountain road to Lake Mountain resort. Your guide will show you where the Toboggan runs are and arrange any lessons. We can organise all hire and lessons for your group.

If you are having so much fun and want to extend the tour we can include an extend an extra few hours and return back later.

The Lake Mountain Alpine Resort

The Lake Mountain Alpine resort offers many fun activities, food outlets, and lessons for first time snowboarding or cross country skiing. This is the premier resort for cross country skiing with no downhill skiing or chairlifts. With plenty of activities to chose from its a great first time location for you and your family.

Our Luxe Bus small group snow tour is all primed for a fun filled day in the snow. You will travel in a spacious small group vehicle with extra leg room and overhead luggage storage where you can sink into our reclinable leather seats in the early morning hours as we drive through the picturesque Yarra Valley region and wind our way through the Mystic Mountains stopping at Marysville for coffee, hot chocolate and purchasing your hire equipment.

At the mountain your guide will assist you with finding the tobogganing runs and arranging any lessons and setting you up for a great day exploring the magic of the snow. You will have approximately 4 hrs to experience on the mountain to experience this amazing environment.

On our return journey the tour is not over, we visit Steavenson Falls for impressive waterfalls and then top the day off with sweet treats at the famous Yarra Valley chocolateries in Yarra Valley for hot chocolates and sweets.

We had a great 1-day-tour to Mornington Peninsula & Phillip Island by Great Private Tours. Thanks greatly to Steve and his professional team. Our vacation is short and so we can only allocate 1 day for Mornington and Phillip. However, most tours of Mornington or Phillip requires 1 day each and 2 days in total. Besides most tours in Mornington do wine tasting which we had no interest in. Steve tailor made an itinerary for us that compact the usual 2 day tour into a 1-day tour. It was a long trip from 08:15 to 00:15 which last for 16 hours. Our Itinerary included Brighton beach, Arthurs Seat Eagle, Peninsula Hot Springs, Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Gardens, Nobbies Centre Antarctic Journey and guided-ranger-tour of the penguin parade. Our tour guide is Matt. He is very nice, knowledgeable and professional. Matt told us lots of interesting and useful information about Melbourne. Furthermore, thanks to the very comfy Benz with recliner chair, we had very good rest on the van and can finish the very long itinerary in 1 day. We are so grateful that Great Private Tours who arranged such a comfy, efficient, fruitful, informative and relaxed journey for us. Therefore, we want to fully recommend them to everyone without reservation~~!!!!

Steve organised one of the best tours of my life. He was polite, knowledgeable and could understand exactly what the traveller wanted. He customised our tour to give us the best experience ever. We were a group 17 with kids and elderly people and Steve made sure he gives us all the help to visit the spots like Great Ocean Road and Philip Island. I will give 10/10 to Steve and his associates for organising the tour and would highly recommend him and Great Private Tours.
